Control, Care, Confidence!
Introduction
Control, Care, and Confidence; the PADI Rescue Diver Course provides you with the skills and confidence to assist you and other divers, both in and out of the water. The Rescue Diver course is a challenging and rewarding experience that will build your knowledge, skills, and give you a broad group of tools to call upon when a emergency situation arrives. This course includes comprehensive knowledge development, a challenging pool session, and a very rewarding weekend of open water diving.
Course Prerequisites
Prior to commencing your course, you must me a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent with proof of 20 logged dives, be 12 years of age or older, and have completed a First Aid and CPR course within the last two years. Sea Green Dive can help you meet all these requirements, except the minimum age of course. Also when you enroll, you will receive a Rescue Diver Crew Pack, could you please ensure the knowledge reviews contained in the ‘Rescue Diver Crew Pack’ are completed prior to the first theory lesson.

Course Layout
The theory lessons will involve elaboration of your knowledge reviews in the rescue diver manual, and viewing part of the rescue diver DVD. The pool session aims to get rid of any butterflies and introduce you and your classmates to the skills you will need to assist divers in a emergency. The open water weekend builds on this by adding the ocean environment, there you will complete several scenarios that encompass the skills you learned in the pool. There is a final exam for the course and this will be on Saturday afternoon. A Rescue Pocket mask is included in the course. Cost of the course is $500 and does not include hire equipment if required.
The knowledge reviews will be collected at the end of the course.
